Model CN4716DINP is a 7/16 DIN style coaxial connector for RG8, AIR802 CA400, Times Microwave LMR400, Belden 9913 and similar size 50 ohm cables. This connector is tri-metal (copper/tin/zinc) plated, or sometimes referred to as white bronze for corrosion resistance and low intermodulation distortion.


7/16 DIN style connectors originated in Europe under the Deutsch Industries Norm (DIN), which is a German standard. The 7/16 refers to 7mm outer diameter of the inner contact and 16mm as the inner diameter of the outer contact.  These are 50 ohm threaded style connectors which have popular use in the cellular industry for their superior Intermodulation distortion (IMD) and support of higher power levels.
