Product Description – Model CA400FLEX-METER-W
AIR802® manufactures high performance cable. This 400-Series cable offers equivalent characteristics and performance to Times Microwave LMR-400UF® ultraflex cable. However, we offer this particular cable in a white colored jacket. The 400-series cable is the most demanded and widely used coaxial cable in the wireless industry and this super flexible and bendable version is in high demand among AIR802 customers worldwide.
AIR802 CA400FLEX-METER-W is our superior Low Loss and super flexible 400-Series coaxial cable offered per meter. This cable is also available in 500 and 1000 foot reels or can be purchased by the foot. It is manufactured with a white thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) jacket. TPE has rubber-like properties and is sometimes referred to as thermoplastic rubber. TPE offers excellent environmental and chemical characteristics. It offers excellent heat resistance and is fantastic for cold environments. Other jacket materials in extreme cold stiffen making working with them extremely difficult. TPE retains flexibility in extreme cold. TPE provides good abrasion resistance, heat resistance, resistance to UV sunlight, oxidation and atmosperic ozone. It does not have high resistance to hydrocarbons and would not be suitable for refining or gas processing plants. It is resitant to wear, cutting and impact. TPE retains its physical and electrical properties even in severe environmental conditions such as salt water making it very suitable for marine use. This cable is constructed of stranded center conductors and coupled with the rubber-like TPE jacket provides for superior bending and flexibility. CA400FLEX has excellent weatherability engineered for greater than 10 years.
If your application is direct burial, our regular CA400 is the best choice with it’s polyethylene (PE) jacket. Our CA400FLEX cable can be used for both indoor and outdoor applications.
