Model CN3716DINP is a 7/16 DIN captivated style coaxial connector for RG8X, AIR802 CA240, Times Microwave LMR240, Belden 9258 and similar size 50 ohm cables. 


7/16 DIN style connectors originated in Europe under the Deutsch Industries Norm (DIN), which is a German standard. The 7/16 refers to 7mm outer diameter of the inner contact and 16mm as the inner diameter of the outer contact.  These are 50 ohm threaded style connectors which have popular use in the cellular industry for their superior Intermodulation distortion (IMD) and support of higher power levels.
