The AIR802® CN1SMAPRA is a SMA plug-male right angle connector sized for AIR802 CA100, Times Microwave LMR-100, RG316, RG174 and RG188 coaxial cables.
Connectors can be a bit confusing regarding the gender. There are also Reverse Polarity (RP) SMA connectors. RP-SMA is common with many wireless products. SMA plug or male connectors have a pin protruding from the center of the connector. The RP-SMA plug or male connector does not have pin in the center protruding but rather has a receptacle. This causes confusion for many not familiar with various connector types. Male and female are regularly mixed up since they are not always intuitive. We generally prefer the terms plug and jack to male versus female for clarity.
